In Tasmania today Brave souls who need more than the regular Ghost Tour to achieve their chills and thr ills now have the opportunity to investigate the paranormal aspect of Port Arthur in an exciting new late-night, adults-only Paranormal Investigation Experience. Participants will be introduced to the function and operation of a number of items of specialised equipment used in paranormal investigations. Then, through the course of the evening, their guide will lead them into a number of buildings around the Historic Site which have a reputation for ghostly occurrences, where they will be able to set up the instr uments and make observations and readings. The Paranormal Investigation Experience will begin after ghost tours finish. It lasts approximately four hours and includes supper mid-way through the investigation. At the end of the evening, participants will be given a DVD containing all the evidence collected during the night and access to follow-up information regarding the findings. Investigate the paranormal at Port Arthur The Paranormal Investigation Experiences operate on the last Saturday night of each month (or by special ar rangement for groups) at the Port Arthur Histor ic Site. The experience is limited to just 20 people per tour, in two groups of 10. It costs $125 per person and is not suitable for anyone under 18 years of age.
