Frosty and Mack come to Tasmania They run on sugar! Now in its third season as the official fuel of V8 Supercars, sucrogen bioethanol E85 is helping to lift motor racing’s image as a cleaner sport. The fuel is produced using molasses, a by-product of sugar production. Burning one litre of sucrogen bioethanol E85 produces about half the CO2 emissions of one litre of petrol over a full life-cycle. In 2011, V8 Supercars will again focus its attention on developing community links through its three key programs – Students on Track, V8 Supersafe and Junior Press Conferences. Students on Track is an exciting excursion away from the classroom, giving students and teachers access to the V8 Supercars Paddock to see inside the world of V8 Supercars.
