Tasmania is such a great place to live, I enjoy getting out and about sampling our wonderful cafes and restaurants. How long have your been working with RACT? 20 years! You obviously like working here – what’s the best part? The people I work with and the R ACT members that I have met and looked after over the years. What have been some of the highlights There have been many, especially meeting all the clients I used to escort on our short break Tasmanian tours. But I must say moving into R ACT House has been a new and exciting time. You must have travelled widely? Yes, I’ve been for tunate to have travelled extensively within Australia and overseas. What was your favourite destination? Par is of course – isn’t it ever yone’s? Why should our customers come and see you at RACT House? 2011 will be a ver y exciting year. I specialise in selling packages to the mainland particularly to see all the wonderful shows like Love Never Dies, the continuing story of Phantom of the Opera, which starts in May 2011. Cr uising out of Australia is becoming more and more popular. We have so many lovely ships based in Australia now to suit everyone’s budget and taste. Meet your Ract House Travelworld Consultant – Trish Giffard RACT Travelworld’s Low Price Promise for RACT members We’ll do our best to get you the best – here’s our Low-Price Promise for RACT members: At the time of booking (valid for new bookings only), subject to normal holiday availability and based on Australian-registered businesses and websites and for travel departing from an Australian port, we promise to beat any valid available holiday quote presented in writing for the same airline, cruise line, tour operator and departure date in the same cabin/grade/fare type/share basis/booking class/code. ‘Available’ means that the other quote is current, confirmed in writing, genuine and available to be booked at the time you present it to us. If the quoted holiday content is not available, we will offer you the best available alternative that will suit your requirements. Fares available due to membership of a group or corporate entity or subscription to a closed user group are excluded. In the unlikely event that we cannot match a quoted price we will pay for your next annual RACT Roadside membership. Register now for our upcoming group tour program Group Travel is a hot item at the moment. Visiting destinations with like-minded people in a group size of your choice opens up a whole new var iety of travel options to you. There will be land tours and cruises, large and small groups, young and the not so young travelling companions and the oppor tunity for single travellers to feel comfortable, travelling in a secure yet f lexible environment.
