An artist's eye on the Tamar Gravelly Beach artist Pieter Zaadstra's new book Tamar Valley An Artist's Jour nal is a pure delight. Beautifully- rendered landscapes in various media are complemented by notes on technique and evocative jottings made on his field trips to sketch and paint the people, places and wildlife of his local area. Pieter's Tamar Valley Triptych is the 'hero piece' of the book -- three panels with a cleverly-blended group of images capture all the atmospheric moods of the river. If you're travelling north, call in to the Zaadstra Art Studio at 411 Gravelly Beach Road and see more of his work -- or visit w w w.zaadstra.com.au WIN!
