Beneath the centrepiece of the display, a 1/12th scale miniature formal flower garden, you can peep into a variety of miniature worlds, with scenes from much-loved children's literature, including Brambly Hedge, Merlin's Cave, Wind in the Willows, Ali Babar and Alice in Wonderland. All exhibits are made or collected by members of Miniature Enthusiasts of Tasmania. Open from 10 am to 4.30 pm each day, the Extravagan za is sited in the heart of Salamanca Place, so you can visit Salamanca Market on Saturday. Admission is $3 adults, 50c children. A record number of traders will offer a variety of exquisite handmade miniatures and commercially available miniatures and components for sale.
