Journeys : RACT MNJ June July 2010
The tiny village of Sainte-Marie de Campan in the French Pyrenees lies in a valley between two notorious climbs in the history of the Tour de France, the Col de Tour malet and the Col d'Aspin. In the 2010 Tour, the peloton (the pack of riders) will have to climb the Tourmalet twice, from both directions. It is also a stage finish. This year, the Tour will pass through Sainte-Marie on Tuesday 20 July, about an hour into the race.
