Journeys : Feb March 2010
Whether it's a sign of the times or simply hum an nature, it is not unnatural for us to leave things to the last minute. From our tasks in the office to the chores at home, there's always the convenient mantra of ‘I can do that later’ -- until the pressure of deadlines stirs us into action. But when it comes to holidays, it's a fact that ‘the early bird gets the wor m’ – you’ll save yourself stress as well as money by booking early. The specials that are booked well in advance are often the best, particularly with air travel, because airlines actively promote for ward bookings in order to meet their passenger targets. And if you book when there is plenty of availability, you are almost guaranteed to be able to travel whenever you wish to go. There will always be cases when you have to book accommodation at the last minute, but it's worth remembering that hotel properties often offer incentives to book accommodation early. Destinations such as Queen sland and Thailand are best planned in advance, particularly for school holidays and peak periods. For example, Thailand offers the best value when booked by February or March for travel from April right through to December (including travel during public and school holiday periods) with added value such as reduced rates, hotel credits, free nights, free breakfast, room upgrades and more. The Gold Coast has plenty of apartment and resort-style accommodation that can be secured well in advance at great rates. If you usually wait until the last minute, this is the opportunity for you to break the mould and achieve the best-possible value for your holiday. So if you're thinking of travelling in the next six months, contact R ACT Travelworld now and talk to us about the options available. We'll be able to give you a good indication of which specials are the best value and shine some light on some of the amazing and readily accessible early bird deals on offer. Why delay?
