Accurate, Balanced, Comprehensive Assessments that are That's how consumers benefit from Australia's Best Cars In arguably the toughest year ever for automotive manufacturers, new or upgraded models continued to be released at a frantic rate. This year sees five of the twelve categories trumped by completely new models, with another four manufacturers winning with mid-life model upgrades. Australia's Best Cars isn't just for this year's new releases -- all volume-selling models on the Australian market are formally- assessed against 19 individual criteria and as we often see, tried and tr ue favourites prevail over the latest but not always greatest. Consumer focus on greater fuel efficiency and standard safety features has continued to influence manufacturers for new releases this year.
